Chapter 26 (University) - College Crashpad

Tesira Fancey, Theorem Bendett & Teak Sharp were all very excited to head to University.
With the money they brought with scholarships, they were able to build a large room off the side of the room cubicle, as well as an extra little bedroom.
It wasn't much, but it was warm and dry!
The downside was having to hike to the back of the house to use the restroom!
The cousins started their adventure out by studying.  The higher their grades, the more money they had!
Studying only lasted so long.  Theorem raided the fridge and Tesira called up a few friends.
Benito, David Ottomas, and Samuel Vu were all staying at a nearby dorm.
"Hey honey," Tesira greeted Benito with a lusty hug.
They chatted over lunch, talked about their classes and what they were going to major in.
But soon, it was time for the first class.  The freshmen headed towards Sim State Technical Building.

Theorem was surprised by Samuel's new hair-do.  It'd been shaggier in high school.  Sam suggested they play a game of red hands, holding his hands out towards Theorem.  He thought about how it'd felt when his hands had touched Sam's last time and hesitantly held his hands out.

When Theorem jerked his hands down to slap Sam's hands, Sam didn't pull away, he caught his hands instead.  Theorem's eyes snapped up to meet his friend's gaze.

Sam smiled hesitantly.
Boldly, Theorem leaned forward and kissed Samuel.   It was everything he'd dreamed about for a first kiss!

Rather than make breakfast on their own, the cousins headed to the Uni Base for cafeteria meal.
It was a good way to meet new people!

After their bellies were full, they headed to Sim State Technical Building.

Tesira checked out the new lecture hall.  They'd torn the stage out and added a few more chairs to fit in more students.

(*AN: I was sad that the stage made it so no one would sit and listen to the speaker at the podium.  So, I gutted the stage and put up a blackboard.  With more space, I fit in a 3rd row of chairs. Now I just need a professor to walk by! 😂)

The cousins worked on their skills until well into the afternoon.

They came home exhausted from so much learning!

I'm not sure who's more upset about the coach's intrusion into Theorem's shower- the coach or Theorem.
Definitely Theorem!

Tesira wasn't sure what overcame her, but she decided to throw caution to the wind and kiss Theorem.
"I'm sorry, that was like kissing my brother," she apologized.

Theorem couldn't quite meet her eye afterwards.  "Let's never speak of this again."

(*AN: What the heck you guys! You're second cousins! No kissing! Thankfully neither of them got a crush on each other after that autonomous kiss.  I'm just gonna chalk it up to experimenting in college!)

"We need to meet some new friends," Theorem said, heading across the street to the Uni Base with cousins in tow.

Teak swore he saw lightening strikes the first time he saw Lisa.
"Hey, can I get your picture to prove to all my friends that angels really do exist?" he told her with a wink.   Damn, he was smooth!

With his killer pick up lines, it was no wonder that Lisa became a regular at their college crashpad.

Tesira took a chance and invited her professor over.
A quick glance in the mirror to make sure she was presentable!

"Hi Professor Platz!" she greeted him .

He smiled. "Please, just Ronan. Professor Platz sounds so stuffy!"

He was a young professor, and so dreamy.
"You're such an amazing teacher!" she told him enthusiastically.  "When you were talking about the world before the Big Super Bowl Blow Out, I felt like I was actually there! I could see it!"
"Oh well, thank you," he told her.  "It's an era that I have long been fascinated in!"

Coach must've come by when I wasn't looking.

Professor Platz apparently fell asleep in the tent and Theorem followed him in.  Looks like someone else is crushing on the professor!
He woke up stiff as a board, and not for any fun reasons!
Good thing Tesira was on hand to help him thaw.
With chattering teeth and possible frostbite, Theorem chattered, "Totally! Worth! It!"

"Sookie! I've missed you!" Tesira hugged her friend.  "You should be here with me!"

Sookie smiled and hugged her best friend back. "You know me, girl.  College wasn't my thing!"
"Sookie? Is that you?" David Ottomas said, stunned when he saw his high school crush.  "How are you doing?"

Teak glanced between the two and quietly excused himself.
Sookie was happy to catch up with David.

Tesira had a mishap with a frozen dinner.  She grabbed a fire extinguisher and was able to douse the flames relatively quickly.  But, it did remind her that her Mom had reached the top of the police career.
BOOM! New smoke alarm!

Theorem and Sam enjoyed some couple couch time.

Oh, and who is this? Matthew Hart?  Be still my heart!  Since she and Betino were just casually dating, she could look, couldn't she?
And a little flirting never hurt anyone!

Aw, Teak finally had his first kiss with Lisa.

"Again?" Teak complained when the coach caught up with him and told him to drop and give him 50.

At least Teak got to work out inside.
"Come on, Theorem, finals!"

The young adults enjoy an evening at Sims State Technical Building, sharpening their skills.

"There's something wrong with my cell phone. It doesn't have your number in it," Teak told the pretty blond.  What could he say? He apparently had a thing for blondes!

Theorem met Mitch Indie on campus and really hit it off with him.

Tesira was going through the motions, but this relationship was headed nowhere.  Just because they were childhood sweethearts didn't mean they had to stay together, did it?
In the end, no matter how much she wanted to make it true, she just wasn't in love with Betino.

More hands on pactice at the technical building.

Tesira was so close to having 20 friends, so she invited a whole bunch of people over to hang out.  There place was party central!

Theorem still had it bad for Professor Platz.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe we totally wore the same outfit!"

Amazingly, this was not a drive-by coaching.  They just wanted to try to stay as physically fit as possible!

Grades were in.  Teak loved that he made a higher grade than Mr. Smarty Pants Theorem.  Although, Theorem argued that it wasn't the same because his Phsyics major was much harder than a Political Science major.

Teak just rubbed the piece of paper in Theorem's face. "Read it and weep baby!"
