Chapter 25 (Urbain) - Marsha, Marsha, Marsha

Some things never changed!
"The snow is really coming down," Allyn remarked as she gazed out the window, enthralled with the winter wonderland.   (I just loved the look of awe on her face as she gazed outside! lol)
Urbain should have been a Pleasure sim.  He grinned as he poked the carrot onto the snowman and completed the look he was going for.  (Frankly, I was expecting an evil snowman!)
After having a spot of fun in the snow, he turned his focus towards working out.  He didn't have to be in excellent shape, just fast enough to outrun the law!

Teak hated doing the dishes. It was much easier to lick a plate clean.

Before bed, he tossed Sailor around as the kid giggled for more.  Being an older brother was definitely fun!
It's good he thought so, because he was about to have another little sibling to help look after.
Welcome to the family baby girl Rogue Sharp!
Urbain watched Allyn have a small fit after she gave birth.  He would have to keep his eye on her.
It's a good thing he'd really mastered this whole fathering thing!

Teak tossed baby Rogue in the air.  His baby sister was the cutest!
Whooooooa... Sailor stood up and glanced around the room, towards the big boy potty.
"I really have to go!" he called out, racing to the bathroom.
"Hey! Good job!" Teak said, congratulating his brother on using the toilet instead of the baby potty. "You sure are growing up!"

Urbain loved his job. He dreamed of being the Scourge of the Seven Seas!  Nobody ever mentioned that they were in the middle of a deserty canyon.

Just because it was a Snow Day didn't mean the boys didn't need to do some learning, Allyn took the boys to the Tent School while Urbain watched baby Rogue.  Truthfully, he was probably sleeping in and not even watching the baby, but she would handle it when she got home.
Teak introduced himself to a cute girl.  "Hey Melissa, I'm Teak," he told her.

"Hey, nice to meet you."
While Teak grabbed a book and began reading his Physiology assignment, Sailor ran around meeting other kids his age.
Oh wow, Melissa and Alvin seem to have a little romance budding!
Pretty sure you're not supposed to be doing that Tesira. You might hurt your back or your knees!
Aw, how romantical.  Tesira rubs her boyfriend Benito's back.

It'd been a long day at school, but Teak had finished his assignment finally.

"Hey, thanks for coming over,"  he called out as he skipped down the steps.  He'd called his cousins to hang out.
It was always fun hanging out with Tetris, Sookie and sometimes Theorem.  The dude could be anal retentive sometimes!

"I got that promotion I was angling for," Urbain said proudly when he came in and saw his wife still awake.  "Let's celebrate!"

It was nice to be able to sleep in some mornings.
 *Squeak* *Squeak* *Squeak*

The couch made a racket as Sailor jumped around.

Urbain threw his pillow at his son.  "Quit your jumping around!" he called out grumpily.

"Missed me!" Sailor chirped.

This time, Urbain grabbed Allyn's pillow and swung it at his son.

"Missed again!" he called as Allyn sputtered "Hey!"
This led to the impromptu Great Pillow War.

"Get him Mom! Knock his lights out!" Sailor called out bloodthirstily.

Teak was always looking for a good friend.
He called up Melissa and invited her over to hang out.

Time had seemed to fly by for Allyn.
Already it was her baby girl's birthday!
 Happy Birthday Rogue!
She shoveled 3 pieces of cake down.

Yes! Another Snow Day! Teak and Sailor whooped and then ran out to play in the snow.

It soon became clear why Allyn chowed down on so many pieces of cake!

Urbain headed down to the produce stall with Teak.  They had to make sure they appeased the ghost of his late wife, Marsha, by making sure there was always enough food in the fridge.
Teak took the opportunity to get to know a few more people in town.
*sob* Just the thought of his dear Marsha could reduce the big, strong man to tears.  Quickly, he wiped the tears away and grabbed some groceries.
"Aren't you a little old to be ringing up the produce?" he asked with surprise.

"Long story, don't ask," Nicole told him.
Wow, Alvin sure is getting around this round!

Aw, Sailor found the Pirate Bear and walked around holding it.

Teak actually found a job he thought he would really enjoy.

"You've made your Dad so happy!" Urbain told his son when he told him the good news.  A chip off the old pirate!
"Aren't you a mite bit cold?" Urbain asked his son as they headed to the carpool.

"Ghost! Ghost of Marsha!" Allyn muttered, after her husband's dead wife popped up out of nowhere and startled her.
"Uh, you okay Allyn?" Teak asked with concern when he turned around and found his stepmom having a minor freakout on the floor.

"Marsha, Marsha, Marsha," she mumbled, shaking her head and crying.

Teak helped her up.  "Why don't you go take a quick shower and then head to bed. I'll watch Rogue," he told her, wrinkling his nose up at the smell of urine.
Allyn took a fast bath, then stood up too fast.  She wobbled and then collapsed.
Not knowing how long she'd been out, Allyn shook her head and slowly got up.  She really needed to clean the bathroom, it was filthy! she noted drily.
She didn't even make it two steps out of the bathroom before she freaked out again.
"Mom's acting crazy," Sailor told his Dad when he got home.  "She's talking about ghosts and cleaning the bathroom."

Urbain bolted up the stairs.
"Just go lay down, love. I'll take care of the kids," he told his wife, quickly changing Rogue's diaper.

"I'm so hungry I could sleep!" Allyn muttered miserably.
 It was a hard night.
At one point, Urbain was convinced he would be burying another wife.  If that kept up, he was going to get a reputation!

Aw, happy birthday!

Only 2 more promotions and he would be at the top of the world! Urbain thought happily.
Upon his son's recommendation, he picked up the Physiology notes and began reading up on how to build body faster.

Sailor called up a school friend to hang out.
"Hey Vanessa!" he said cheerfully.  "Wanna play pirates and robbers?" he asked.  In their household, they didn't pretend to be cops!
"Tell me where the gold is!" Vanessa demanded, taking aim.

"Over my dead body!" he shouted, ducking her pretend shots.  "I'll never tell you where I buried the gold!"

Thank Plumbbob! Allyn thought as she went into labor.  She was never 'celebrating' with Urbain again!
Welcome to the family boy, baby boy Quay!

"What the heck is a Quay?" Allyn asked, wondering what kind of name they were giving their son.

Urbain tsked, shaking his head at his dear wife's lack of nautical knowledge.  "Quay. Noun. A concrete, stone, or metal platform lying alongside or projecting into water for loading and unloading ships."

Allyn just shook her head and looked down into her baby boy's eyes. "I'm sorry."

"Hey guys, shove off, I can't get to the baby," Teak said, shooing the kids outside.
Now that there was more space upstairs, he moved the baby stuff up so it was out of the way.

Teak was looking forward to the family reunion to see his cuzs.  There were plenty of kids his age.
Even Sailor had kids his age.
"Get a room!" Tetris teased when Uncle Urias and his wife Marisa started making out in the middle of the room (again).  They did that every reunion, it seemed!

  1. wow I have lots of catching up to do. (real life stuff going on here).

There's nothing like a great pillow war in a family! Poor Allyn, she's just a baby machine, is that why she's breaking down all the time?! How cute is Rogue though? Little Quay joined the world, heh, loving the names.
Aww Urbain is an oldie, fingers crossed for those last two promo's! :)
