Chapter 0 - University Years

Andres Legende headed into his dorm with a young adult's grandeous dreams, hopes and desires. 

He brought all the essential things from home: posters, a radio, his badass rug and bed sheets.  

The dorm was still pretty empty as he headed downstairs and grabbed some grub.

He didn't care if the Moo Mascot was their arch nemesis, joy buzzing the cafeteria lady was fricking hilarious!

With all the excitement of an incoming freshmen, Andres attacked his assignments. After all, his spending cash (aka grants) were attached to his grades!

Time for some fun in the computer lab.

All the young, fresh, doe-eyed 18 year olds headed to their first class of the their University careers in a single file line.

The dorm mates slowly trickled back home and took some time to get to know each other.  Allyn caught Andres' eye from the first moment.

"Wanna split cab fare on a trip downtown?" he asked.   

Allyn picked this little nightclub that she liked called the Crypt O' Night. It sounded like a blast until they got there and he saw it was straight up goth.

 What started out as a boring night slowly got better.

Andres and Allyn really hit it off over dinner and drinks.

Then danced until the wee hours of the morning.

The exhausted young adults dragged their worn out butts home sometime after 3 am and promptly crashed in their beds.

It was Andres dream to be a Rock God.  All his mom had let him play growing up was a lame violin.  But when he saw the stage at the Campus Lounge, he knew where he'd be in all his spare time.

Unfortunately, the crowd wasn't as impressed with his musical prowess as he was.

He wasn't going to say it was karma, but when he saw the girl that had just yelled at him to get off the stage get pickpocketed, he wasn't about to say a word.

Andres also checked out the gym.  He thought it would be a great place to meet hot chicks.  He was sure his treadmill was defective!

Andres managed to make it look like he tripped on accident and was checking out the hottie at the end of the treadmills when he heard someone yell, "Drop and give me forty!"

Andres glanced around after he heard the coach finally walk away and immediately stopped working out.

His gaze swung over to the treadmill where the hottie was.  Dangit! She was gone!

Back at the dorm, Andres spent alot of his spare time hanging with Allyn.  She was real cool customer.  She didn't believe in "labels," so she never pressured him to go steady. 

They were just having a good time together.

 He was chatting up the cheerleader when he heard her scoff as she walked by, though.

He headed upstairs to make sure she wasn't mad.  

He had to do a little schmoozing before she let her mad go and admitted she really liked him.  "I really like you, too," he told her.  "We wouldn't be doing this if I didn't."

One thing led to another.

 And she hung the Do Not Disturb sign and locked her door.

After one of his sets at the Campus Lounge, Andres ran into the cutest chick.  She was the total opposite of Allyn, bubbly and pink. Very pink!

It was pretty clear that she liked what she saw, too.

 He got her number before he headed back to the dorm.

 "Hey Heather," he said when he called her up, "Wanna come over?" 

"Sure, can I bring a friend?"

"Sure, the more, the merrier!" he told her, especially if  it's a chick!

Heather brought someone he thought was more likely to be friends with Allyn, a very grumpy chick who shot down all his charming attempts at conversation.

At least Allegra kept Allyn occupied while he chit chatted with Heather.

 When they were alone, he pulled her into his arms.

 Good thing the dorm added this cool photobooth.

 College seemed to speed by and Andres didn't want to be tied down yet.

Really Matchmaker? His best match is a Vampire? In a Zombie Apocalypse?  "I want my money back," he muttered under his breath.  "All $858 of it!"

 "Nice meeting you!"

Andres spent all his free time strumming on the guitar at the campus lounge.  Big things were gonna happen to him after graduation, he could feel it!

He was getting pretty badass! Even strangers thought so!

 And it was a total babe magnet!

"Don't worry, we'll see each other again real soon," Andres told Heather.

"We'll see each other again real soon," he promised Allyn. "Don't worry!"

Then, grabbing his degree, a poster and his radio, he headed home.
